Lucknow: The last date of application for those going on Haj pilgrimage in the year 2025 has ended. Uttar Pradesh Haj Committee Secretary S.P. Tiwari said that the date was extended twice for the convenience of the Hajis. The last date was till 30 September 2024. Now on Haj pilgrimage in the year 2025

Giving information, SP Tiwari said that 17120 people have registered to go on Haj pilgrimage in the year 2025. He told that earlier the last date to apply for Haj was 9th September, then it was extended to 23rd September. The third and final increase was on 30 September. He said that the decision to extend the date was taken keeping in mind the holidays in Haj committees, government and non-government organizations related to Haj and passport offices. Now the application has been completely closed. No individual can apply for Hajj 2025.

SP Tiwari said that the instructions issued by the Ministry of Haj and Umrah are being fully followed. According to the instructions issued for 2025, it is mandatory to complete all administrative work by October. To ensure that all work is done as per schedule, the date for Haj application has not been extended and September 30 has been declared as the last date.
