Accident happened while returning home from duty
The accident happened in front of Zarifnagar police station. Home guards posted at the police station, Veeresh (52) and Harveer (46) were residents of Gobra village of Ughaiti police station area. Both of them were returning home on bike after leaving the police station for duty. After reaching the police station gate, he was talking on Veeresh’s mobile. Veeresh was talking on the mobile by keeping the bike aside. Meanwhile, another bike came waving. Collided with Veeresh’s bike. All three people were seriously injured in the accident.
Road accident happened in front of the police station
The matter was in front of the police station, so the police immediately arrived and took the three injured to the CHC. But doctors declared Veeresh dead. Whereas the bike rider along with the other home guard were referred to the Higher Center as their condition was critical.
SO Zarifnagar Ravikaran Singh said that home guard Veeresh has died. The injured bike rider along with the other home guard have been sent to the district hospital. The bike involved in the accident has been taken into custody and is being investigated.
