Due to an incident that happened about 9 years ago in Akbarpur area of Kanpur Dehat, the court has sentenced a young man to 5 years imprisonment. This case dates back to June 26, 2015, when a police party stopped a suspicious car during vehicle checking. During this time, the miscreants in the car attacked the police.

Punished for indiscriminate firing
According to the information, the then SI Rambadan Singh and his team had conducted this checking campaign in Barajod area. According to the police, the miscreants who got out of the car opened fire indiscriminately and ran away towards the fields. The police showed promptness and caught one of the accused with a pistol and cartridges. Chargesheet was also filed against other accused, one of whom was Tabbal alias Rinku Goswami.
The hearing was going on in the court of District Judge I
The hearing of the case was going on in the court of Additional District Judge I. During the hearing, the accused submitted a plea in the court admitting his guilt. After hearing the arguments from both sides, the court convicted Tabbal alias Rinku Goswami and sentenced him to five years imprisonment.
Along with this, he was also imposed a fine of Rs 500. If the accused does not pay the fine, he will also have to undergo additional imprisonment of one month.
