Vijaykant Bajpai, resident of Kasba Mohalla Syedbada of Sandi police station area, is a retired employee of Municipality. His son Alok Bajpai runs a public service center near the water tank near Bilgram octroi in Sandi town. Vijay Kumar Bajpai was also present at the public service center on the evening of 30 September. His scooter was parked on the side of the road. It is alleged that meanwhile Anil Gupta, brother of the former municipality president, came out with his car. A dispute started over parking the scooter on the road.
After this, the former Municipal Corporation President’s brother Anil, nephew Mohit Kumar, Rehan Khan and Arif together attacked. Vijay Vajpayee got injured in this fight. This incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the public service center. Police was informed. Police Station Head Chhotalal said that based on the complaint of victim Vijay Vajpayee, a report has been registered against six people. Medical examination has been done.
