Change in operating timings of government schools in UP from today
There is a change in the teaching timings in the council and secondary schools of Uttar Pradesh from today i.e. Tuesday. From October 1, studies will be held in council schools from 9 am to 3 pm. At the same time, in view of seasonal diseases like dengue and malaria, children should wear full sleeve cups.

According to the educational calendar released by the Basic Education Department, schools will run from 8 am to 2 pm from April 1 to September 30 and from 9 am to 3 pm from October 1 to March 31. These changes are happening under this calendar.
dengue – Alert issued regarding malaria
A special campaign will be run in council schools to prevent seasonal diseases. In this, there will be programs at Panchayat level to make parents aware about diseases. A campaign is also being run to ensure cleanliness of the school premises and to prevent waterlogging. Instructions have also been given for fogging and medicine spraying in schools.
Secondary schools will run from 9.30 am
Timings of secondary schools will also change from October 1st. Secondary schools will run from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Till now these were running from 7.30 to 1.30. There will be a prayer meeting for 15 minutes in the morning. After this, studies will be held in four periods of 40-40 minutes from 9.45. After this, there will be a 25-minute lunch and then four periods of studies.
