After meeting the family, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti said, the driver has been arrested, but we will not remain silent until the principal is arrested. When the daughter attempted suicide by jumping from the college floor, why was she not taken to Hardo Hospital? The hospital had all the facilities, but the family members were informed after several hours.
Sadhvi’s clarification on Swami Prasad Maurya’s statement
During this time, the former Union Minister also reacted to the statement of former Minister Swami Prasad Maurya who had come to meet the victim’s family the previous day. Maurya had said that in the present times, if people from the Chief Minister’s community commit crimes, they will not be forgiven, whereas Dalits and Muslims are their enemies number one. On this the Sadhvi clarified, “I condemn Swami Prasad’s statement. Irrespective of the society a criminal belongs to, he is a criminal.”

Sadhvi said that no one will be spared in this case. Whatever needs to be done to get justice for our daughter, we will fight for justice together with the family. Meanwhile, UP government’s Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya was scheduled to arrive by helicopter at 3:30 pm today to meet the victim’s family, but due to some reason this program was cancelled.
