On Wednesday morning, in Mohari Kala village of Gosaiganj police station area of Lucknow, village head Ramkumar was beaten severely with sticks by the bullies after a minor altercation. Pradhan had gone for a walk towards the fields, when suddenly some people attacked him.

The victim told that Radheshyam alias Babu, Ram Naresh, Vikas, Sonu and their two unknown associates abused and beat him. When a crowd gathered at the spot, the accused threatened to kill the family and fled.
After getting treatment at CHC hospital, Pradhan Ramkumar lodged a complaint about the incident at Gosaiganj police station. The police took immediate action and detained one accused and started searching for other accused. Police station in-charge Brijesh Tripathi said that a case has been registered in the matter and investigation is being done. After taking one accused into custody and interrogating him, they have started searching for others.
