Anarchists pelted stones at Vande Bharat Express in Kanpur on Thursday evening. There was panic after stone pelting on a train passing through Panki station. Stones were pelted in the AC chaircar coach of 22435 Vande Bharat Express going from Varanasi to Delhi near Panki station.

Stone pelting on the outskirts of Kanpur On Thursday, as soon as the train was entering from the outer signal of Panki station at 7.05 pm, stone pelting started on the C-7 coach. When a stone hit the glass of C-7 coach, the glass broke. This created panic among the passengers of the coach.
Case registered and investigation started Many passengers bent down from their seats. RPF Panki said that the driver and TTE had informed the control. On this matter, a case has been registered against unknown persons in RPF on Thursday under the section of causing damage to railway property and investigation has been started.
