On Thursday, a person was lying injured on the roadside in front of village Chanduiya of Merapur police station area of Farrukhabad. His bike was also found lying nearby. The villagers informed 112 police.

Police reached the spot with the help of ambulance 108 and took the injured to CHC Kayamganj, where doctors declared him dead. After a long time, the deceased was identified as Shahrukh Ali Khan, resident of Bhogaon police station area of Mainpuri district. The deceased was a teacher by profession. After identification, the police have sent the body for postmortem.
He was the sole support of his widowed mother and deaf-mute brother.
In fact, on Thursday, Merapur police station had reached CHC Kayamganj with a youth injured in a road accident, who was declared dead by the doctors. The youth could not be identified as no identity card or document was found with him. After a long time, a young man from the city identified the deceased. After identification, the police informed the relatives of the deceased. The deceased’s maternal uncle, Mainpuri resident Mumtaz Ali Khan, who reached CHC, told that Shahrukh used to live with his mother and deaf-mute brother Mohsin.
Came for training at BRC
Achara outpost in-charge Anand Sharma said that according to the information received from the family members, the deceased Shahrukh was a teacher in the primary school located in Usawan block of Badaun district. He was going to attend the training going on at I Farrukhabad BRC on Thursday on his bike. During this time he was hit by an unknown vehicle. The body has been sent for post-mortem. The case is being investigated.
