There was a dispute going on for a long time regarding the distribution of land between the families of Maharaj Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav in Akbarabad Guhauli village of Sarai Akil. Both the parties had complained to the police and revenue officials in this matter, but no concrete steps were taken. According to Kuldeep Yadav, there was an altercation with Maharaj Yadav’s family last evening regarding possession of the land, complaint about which was given in the police station, but no action was taken. On Thursday morning, Kuldeep’s son Sandeep Yadav was returning from the farm, when Maharaj Yadav’s son stopped him on the way.
It is alleged that on the challenge, other members of his family also came and everyone attacked Sandeep with sticks and iron rods. Hearing Sandeep’s screams, his family reached the spot, but by then Sandeep was seriously injured. Before dying, Sandeep told the names of his attackers and then died.
Police station in-charge Sunil Singh said that on the basis of the complaint filed by the victim’s family, a case has been registered against named and unknown people. The body has been sent for post-mortem and the accused are being searched. Police say that soon the accused will be arrested and this heinous murder case will be exposed.
