A youth riding a bike died after being hit by a Bolero near Ratan Sen College on Itwa Road in Bansi Tehsil area of Siddharthnagar on Friday. Police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it to the district hospital for postmortem.

Murli Chauhan (25), son of Babulal Chauhan, resident of Bhaluhi village of Mishroliya police station area, was going to Bansi by bike. As soon as he reached near the petrol pump. The Bolero going towards Etawah hit him hard. Murali was seriously injured in this accident. Local people immediately took him to PHC Bansi, where doctors declared him dead.
The driver ran away leaving the vehicle On receiving information about the incident, the family reached the hospital. The Bolero driver fled leaving the vehicle after the accident. The police have taken possession of the vehicle and started investigating the matter. Kotwal Ram Kripal Shukla said that postmortem of the body is being conducted and further action is being taken.
