Sambhal has not been able to become the district headquarters even after 13 years of its formation. Whereas village Panwasa was declared the district headquarters. Times changed and governments changed. The name of the district changed from Bhimnagar to Sambhal. The headquarters was also declared from Panwasa to Bahjoi, but Sambhal district did not get a permanent headquarters.

In the Total Solution Day organized on Saturday, a delegation led by Nareshpal Yadav, Patron of Revenue Bar Association Bahjoi and Devendra Varshney, former District President of Advocate Council Braj District Unit Sambhal, met DM Dr. Rajendra Pansia and submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister saying that the treasury ,The office of Transport Department is in Sambhal. Whereas the District Court operates in Bahjoi town of Chandausi tehsil, 26 kilometers away. All the district level important departments including DM-SP are in Bahjoi and the general public is very upset due to not having their headquarters at one place. There is a demand to build a permanent headquarters soon. Advocates like business leader Mahavir Prasad, Dharmapam Singh Yadav, Sonu Kumar Gupta etc. were present in the delegation.
Decision will be taken within two months Devendra Kumar Varshney said that the District Court sits in Chandausi and the DM-SP sits in Bahjoi. There is ARTO and treasury office in Sambhal. For 13 years people have been running here and there and going about their work. People face a lot of problems. Today, when a memorandum was given to DM Saheb, he told the delegation that he had talked to the Principal Secretary. He has told that a decision will be taken at the government level within two months and the construction work of the permanent headquarters will be started soon.
