These include nilgai, blackbuck, Indian gazelle, monkeys, golden jackals, jungle cats and sarus cranes. The WII report identified blackbucks and sarus cranes as the dominant species inhabiting the land acquired for the airport.

A survey of the area spanning about 10 to 25 km along the 1,334 hectare land earmarked for the first phase of the airport recorded 258 black bucks. The largest group of 29 of them was seen in the village south-east of the airport. Such deer can be brought to the Deer Park of Noida.
