Police have increased vigilance in view of the upcoming festivals in Meerut. Late on Sunday night, SSP Dr. Vipin Tada came on the road with heavy police force. Surveillance was done through drones in sensitive areas of the city. SSP clarified that the atmosphere changes during festivals.

After this, the streets and roofs of houses were examined with the help of drone cameras. SSP said that the police is fully alert in view of the festivals. Every activity in sensitive areas is being monitored.

Action will be taken against those who disturb the peace of the city The SSP warned that if any person tries to spoil the atmosphere during festivals, he will be booked under serious sections and sent to jail.
He said that the police is also keeping a strict vigil on social media platforms like Facebook, X and WhatsApp. If any person tries to disturb the peace through social media, he will not be spared under any circumstances.
Continuous deployment of police force in the city The SSP also said that the police is working diligently day and night to ensure peaceful conduct of the festivals. Police forces are continuously patrolling the sensitive areas and all necessary steps are being taken to prevent any untoward incident.
