The administration in Siddharthnagar has taken strict security measures regarding the sale of firecrackers on the festival of Diwali. SDM and CO of Dumariyaganj tehsil area held an important meeting with firecracker shopkeepers, in which the guidelines of the government were followed.

Instructions given during inspection
After the meeting, the officials inspected the firecracker shops operating in the mango orchards located in Hallaur. During this, they were given clear instructions to follow all fire safety measures. Instructions were given to maintain the bucket filled with sand and other safety equipment including fire cylinder around the shop.
Firecracker shops will be set up at designated places
Dumariyaganj tehsil administration has earmarked space for firecracker shops for three days on the occasion of Diwali. These shops will be set up by licensed shopkeepers in the mango orchard in front of St. Thomas School, Hallaur.
Special attention to the safety of children
CO Satishchand Pandey gave special instructions to the shopkeepers keeping in mind the safety of children. He stressed the need to keep safety items around the shop as directed by the government. Along with this, it was also asked to park the vehicles away from the tracks of Dhebarua Basti main road, so that there is no jam on the road during shopping.
During this, members of the police force including BDO Amit Singh, Inspector Ramesh Kumar Yadav and Sub Inspector Shiv Kumar Yadav were also present. This step of the administration has been taken to ensure safe and orderly shopping on Diwali.
