A young man died after being hit by a train at around 6.15 pm on Tuesday evening near Pachrukha railway crossing under Revati police station area in the middle of Ballia-Chhapra railway section. As soon as the information was received, SI Prabhakar Shukla reached the spot and took the body into his custody for postmortem.

According to the information received, Dhannu Yadav (32), a resident of Shankarpur Piparpanti under Bansdiharode police station area, was going to his in-laws’ house in Pachrukha. After getting down from the train at the railway station, Revati was going on foot to her in-laws’ house, Pachrukha Jaga Yadav. Meanwhile, about 100 meters east of Pacharukha railway crossing near Pacharukha Devi temple, he was seriously injured after being hit by a train. Seriously injured Dhannu was hurriedly taken to CHC Revathi in an ambulance. Where the doctors declared Dhannu dead. After necessary action, the police sent the body for postmortem.
