Let us tell you that to prevent road accidents, an awareness campaign is being run by the Etawah Traffic Police. During this period, along with issuing challans to those violating traffic rules, they are also being made aware by giving them roses. In the same sequence, challan was issued to 17 vehicles parked in no parking near the canal at Manikpur turn. Also two challans were issued for drunk and drive. Apart from this, about 50 truck drivers were made aware about traffic rules. A challan of around Rs 10,000 was also issued.
