An incident has come to light in Motigarpur police station area of Sultanpur. Here, two miscreants stopped a bike rider going home from the market at gunpoint, snatched Rs 20,000 cash and a bike from his pocket and fled away. Dial 112 police reached the spot after the victim’s complaint.

Incident near Bhatpurva of Motigarpur
Ashok Kumar Verma, resident of Bhairopur of Motigarpur police station area, alleges that he was returning home from Pandababa market of the police station area on his bike number UP 44 AZ 7154. Ashok alleges that when he had just reached near the poultry farm located near Bhatpurva of the village, Sonu Yadav, son of Bajrangi Yadav, resident of Alapur, Kotwali Kadipur area, and an unknown person, who were already standing there, stopped him by showing a pistol. At gunpoint they beat him using abusive language. Then both of them ran away after snatching the Rs 20,000 cash in my pocket and my bike.
Action will be taken after investigation
The victim informed dial 112 police about the incident. Police reached the spot and investigated the matter. The victim has given a written complaint in the night itself against two people including one named. Police station incharge Motigarpur Tarun Kumar Patel said that prima facie the matter seems to be a mutual transaction. Necessary action will be taken after investigation.
