Dubai Potato Twister, a culinary delicacy served on a long skewer with chutney and spices, has quickly become a sensation in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich. People are lining up to try this potato snack, priced at just Rs 30 per skewer.
A Dubai-themed exhibition is currently underway in Bahraich, featuring various types of swings, games, and a model of the Burj Khalifa. Several shops have also been beautifully decorated for this occasion.
Mohammad Saeed, a resident of Lucknow, has also set up a stall at the Gend Ghar Ground in the city, where he is selling this appetizer.
The Dubai Potato Twister is prepared in a special way. First, potatoes are placed in a unique machine, and the handle attached to the machine is rotated. A skewer is inserted, causing the potato to spread in the shape of a spring. Then, it is dipped in a special liquid masala and fried directly in refined oil. After frying, it is dressed with mayonnaise, chutney and spices. The crispy and delicious potato snack is then served to customers.
It had always been Mohammad Saeed’s dream to visit Dubai. Hence, when he started his stall, he decided to name it after the city.
Those who want to taste this special potato dish may visit the Gend Ghar Ground in Bahraich within 10 to 12 days.
