Number and arrangement of puja pandals
This year, Durga idols have been installed at a total of 272 places in the district. On Wednesday, the doors of all the pandals were opened with Vedic chanting, so that devotees could have darshan and worship of Maa Durga.
Security and arrangements
The district administration has made strict security arrangements regarding Durga Puja. Special arrangements have been made in Mughalsarai, Chandasi, Padav, Chandauli and other sensitive areas so that there is no disturbance of any kind. ASP Vinay Kumar Singh said that special arrangements have been made for security around the puja pandals.
Wherever there is crowd, cameras have been installed so that any problem can be resolved immediately. All police station incharges have been instructed to review the security arrangements.
