Fraudsters committed fraud in the name of reducing the bill of a private hospital located at PGI, Lucknow. The woman had come to Lucknow to get her son treated. The hospital bill was around one lakh. Kusumavati’s wife Ramnivas, resident of Jhagha Gorakhpur, had come with her son to PGI’s Corpus Hospital, Uttarethia, for treatment. On September 13, around 8 am, an unknown person came and started talking to the woman. During the conversation, he increased the contact by showing his affection to the woman. After this, Bahala coaxed him and said that he will get the hospital bill reduced.
Woman falls into trap due to poverty The cost of treatment was around Rs 1 lakh, so the unknown young man said that he would reduce it by Rs 40 thousand. The woman fell into his trap. After this an account number of Punjab National Bank was given. In which 60 thousand rupees were asked. After this he ran away leaving the woman and her son there. The woman searched extensively along with the people present there but could not find him.
Due to lack of money, the woman went back to Gorakhpur Medical College with her son. Where the boy died during treatment. After which the woman came back to Lucknow and lodged a complaint against the thug in the police station.
In this matter, Inspector PGI Brijesh Chandra Tiwari says that a case has been registered and the fraudster is being searched.
