Akhilesh first shared a video on X. Wrote- Stopping someone from bowing or paying homage is not a sign of civilized people. Then reached JP Center twice between 11:15 pm and 11:30 pm. He said to ACP Vikas Jaiswal standing there – Let’s see how long you stand there? One day, two days…six months, how long?

He said- The government must be trying to hide something by putting up this tin shed. Why are you not allowing any great man to be honoured? That too on the birth anniversary of the great socialist leader Jai Prakash Narayan ji. Are you planning to sell it or want to give it to someone? We will come to pay tribute to the socialist great man.

JP Center was built during the government of Akhilesh Yadav.

Akhilesh said- Every year on the birth anniversary of socialist great man Jai Prakash Narayan ji, SP people used to gather here. This is not happening for the first time. Every year socialist people used to garland. Used to express his views. A great leader, who gave the slogan of total revolution. He did not bow down before the government of that time and a time came when his complete revolution brought about a change in the politics of the country.

What exactly does the government want to hide by installing this tin shed, is it planning to sell it or want to give it to someone? Stopping the work, spoiling the work and then destroying the work or writing that the building is under construction, entry is prohibited, what is this? Look, a painter is sitting here. He might have been given only money.

Akhilesh said- It is the job of the government to stop the work, spoil the work and then destroy the work.

Akhilesh asked for paint, said- want to write Samajwadi Zindabad Akhilesh asked for paint from the painter sitting near JP Centre. He said- Give me some paint and your brush. The workers have to write here – Samajwadi Zindabad. Akhilesh also asked the workers to give money to the painter.

The workers took red paint from the painter and painted the notice written by the administration on the wall of the tin shed. Samajwadi Party Zindabad was written next to it.

Akhilesh told ACP Vikas Jaiswal – Let’s see how long you will stand.

SP said- will not bow down before dictators Samajwadi Party targeted the government in this matter. Written on X- BJP government is continuously attacking democracy. The attempt by the UP government to again lock the JPNIC named after Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan ji on his birth anniversary is highly condemnable.

Not allowing garlanding of the statue of Jai Prakash Narayan ji shows the dirty politics of BJP. This anti-people government has insulted great men by ruining development work like JPNIC built in Lucknow. Socialists will not bow down to these dictators.

Now know the Jampi center where Akhilesh is going to go tomorrow… There is an 18-storey Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan National Convention Center near the LDA office in Gomtinagar. It was constructed between 2013 and 2016 at a cost of Rs 864 crore. Then SP and Akhilesh Yadav were the Chief Ministers in the government. There was a change of power in 2017. BJP government has come. CM Yogi decided to get the project investigated on the complaint of irregularities in construction.

The investigating team was continuously demanding all the DPRs of the center from LDA i.e. Lucknow Development Authority. But, LDA did not give. In June it was reported that DPRs were missing. The then Additional Chief Secretary of Housing and Urban Planning Nitin Ramesh Gokarn had instructed LDA Vice President Dr. Indramani Tripathi to register an FIR.

There is a statue of Jai Prakash Narayan in the centre. Last year Akhilesh had garlanded him.

Along with Akhilesh, all the SP workers also jumped the gate and went inside.

Akhilesh had jumped 8 feet wall Last year, the force was on alert since morning to stop Akhilesh outside the gate of JPNIC. LDA did not even allow Akhilesh Yadav to garland him. SP started protesting in the morning itself. About 500 SP supporters sat on strike at the gate.

Akhilesh also had a clash with the policemen. More than 100 police forces tried to stop them. The gate was locked. The wall of the tin shed was erected. But, could not stop. Akhilesh entered inside JPNIC by jumping about 8 feet high gate.

Akhilesh garlanded the statue of Jayaprakash Narayan. Then returned and came out after jumping the gate. Taking a jibe at the government, Akhilesh had said – If you tease, you will not leave.
