Earlier it was quite challenging to reach this temple, as devotees had to climb 618 steps. But now the journey has become simple with the help of Damodar Ropeway. Devotees can now reach the top of the mountain and have darshan of Lord Hanuman in just five minutes. This 302 meter long ropeway has the capacity to carry 500 devotees every hour, allowing the devotees to reach the temple while enjoying the natural beauty of Chitrakoot.
