How did the controversy start? EO Sunil Kumar told in the complaint given to SO Jahangirganj that Sunil Maurya calls himself the representative of the Chairman of Nagar Panchayat. Came to the Nagar Panchayat office with his henchmen on Friday. Maurya and his henchmen not only tore the government register in the office, but also misbehaved and beat him up. During the incident, Sunil Maurya also threatened to kill the EO.

SO’s statement and police action On receiving information about the incident, SO Akshay Kumar of Jahangirganj police station reached the spot with his team. He said that on the basis of EO’s complaint, a case has been registered against Sunil Maurya and his henchmen under serious sections. Charges like obstructing government work, threatening to kill and assault have been leveled against the accused.
