IG Dr. Rakesh Singh, Commissioner Soumya Agwaral, DM Ravindra Kumar and other officers during the foot march on Kotwali Road at night.
All the officers came out on the streets in Bareilly on Friday night regarding security arrangements for Dussehra festival. IG Dr Rakesh Singh, Bareilly Division Commissioner Soumya Aggarwal, DM Ravindra Kumar and SSP Anurag Arya were also present. Where all the officials started GIC from Chowpla bridge.

Mounted police are also patrolling the city
The IG has instructed all the Additional SPs and COs that the police should continuously patrol the main markets in the city. If the police station in-charge and CO are negligent in this, then they themselves will be held responsible. Patrolling should be done in main markets and crowded places regarding the upcoming festivals. The police should work in coordination with the people. There should be security on Dussehra festival also. At the same time, police should take action in those places where incidents of crime against women have happened in the past.

Mounted police are also patrolling the city day and night. The officers marched on foot at night from Chowpla intersection via Biharipur outpost to police station Kotwali for the upcoming festivals and for peace and law and order. All the Additional SP and CO were present in it.
