A tragic incident has taken place at Station Road Gandhi Ganj in Kotwali area of ​​Chitrakoot city. Here Rakesh Kesharwani, a grocery businessman, committed suicide due to being blackmailed by cyber thugs. This incident has created a stir in his family.

On October 10, a cyber thug made a video call to Rakesh. The thugs threatened to make her obscene video viral and demanded Rs 61,500. Due to this fear, Rakesh transferred the money through Phone Pay to the account of a person named Bharat Rakwar.

But the demands of the thugs did not end. He asked for more money and started threatening him by calling himself Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora. The thugs also said that they will send a CBI team from Delhi. Due to which the mental pressure on Rakesh increased. Due to this tension, Rakesh went to his room and hanged himself.

Strict action will be taken against the accused

According to family members, when Rakesh’s daughter called the thugs, they said that a complaint against her father had been registered and they needed to talk to him. This brought the whole matter to light. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem.

The Superintendent of Police said that this incident happened due to blackmailing by cyber thugs. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the Kotwali police and cyber cell team are investigating. Strict action will be taken against the accused.
