In such a situation, adequate number of police and administrative officers are being deployed at all these immersion sites. So that there is no problem in immersion. Along with this, divers and PAC teams are also being deployed on the ghats along the river.

1474 statues are installed in Azamgarh district
A total of 1474 idols have been installed in the entire district which are to be immersed during the Durga Puja festival of Azamgarh district. In such a situation, the district administration is busy preparing for the immersion of idols during Durga Puja. So that the immersion program can be conducted safely. How serious is the district administration regarding the festival of Durga Puja.
This can be gauged from the fact that the DIG and Commissioner of the division have been inspecting the puja committees as well as the markets late at night for four consecutive days. Along with this, instructions are also being given to the officials so that no irregularities occur. [
