He accused former BJP MLA Raghavendra Pratap Singh that he and his supporters want to disturb the unity and peace among the people in Dumariyaganj through religious issues. Syeda Khatoon told that she had gone to attend a fruit program organized at Maa Vatvasani temple of Galapur. Where after the program some BJP workers arrived and started creating ruckus.
Attempt to instigate in the name of religious sentiments
He said that this fruit program has been organized thrice already. But this time BJP people opposed it and argued with our workers. Syeda Khatoon alleged that this was only an attempt to instigate people in the name of religious sentiments.
He said that during his tenure, development work is not being done on the basis of caste and religion. Taking aim at the former MLA, he said that he only used people’s sentiments to take advantage, whereas he had brought about real development by renovating temples. Zaheer Malik, Vijay Agrahari, Ajay Yadav and others were also present on this occasion.
