In Sitapur, the police have arrested the son of an accused in a murder case that took place 24 hours ago. Here the son had murdered his mother with an ax for not giving her money for liquor. The matter is of Laharpur Kotwali area. Diwakar alias Santosh Kashyap (30), son of late Shambhu Dayal Kashyap, resident of village Bhadfar here, killed his mother Mula Devi (65) by hitting her on the face with an axe, late on Thursday evening, for not paying the money for liquor. The son has attacked his mother’s face in such a way that anyone would get goosebumps after seeing her picture.
Police arrived on the information of the family members and inspected the spot and sent the body to the district headquarters for post-mortem. Additional Superintendent of Police Prakash Kumar said that on the complaint of the daughter of the deceased, a case has been registered against the accused son and he has been arrested for capital murder. Police say that the accused is addicted to alcohol and because of this he murdered the mother.
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the woman’s death and conducted an investigation.
The police arrived and investigated.
