People dancing in Dandiya festival
On Monday, Kanpurites danced vigorously in the Dandiya Mahotsav organized by Rotary Club. The Gujarati tune Re Taari Pankhadi Re Pakhadi, Dholeena, Dholeena… and Madhuban Mein Jo Kanhaiya Kisi Gopi Se Mile… songs forced the Kanpurites who attended the program to dance.

Women dressed in Gujarati costumes danced vigorously on the songs. People were rewarded by a lucky draw on behalf of Rotary Club.
Lots of shopping in Diwali fair
Dandiya Utsav was organized by Rotary Club at Lajpat Bhawan, in which Dainik Bhaskar App also participated. People came dressed in Gujarati and traditional clothes from 7 pm on Monday evening to participate in the program. Traditional costumes and Diwali fair were also organized in the program. In which people showed great interest.

The program was started after ritually worshiping the idol of Maa Durga at 9 pm. Started with Jai Ambe Gauri… bhajan. In Dandiya Mahotsav, Chand Aaya Hai Zameen Par Aaj Garbe Ki Raat Mein… When the song was played in the DJ, people started dancing on their own. People also gathered on the DJ floor with Dandiya.

Pooja and Deepak became winners of lucky draw
During the program, a lucky draw coupon was taken out by the Rotary Club, when anchor Dimple called the names of Pooja Sharma and Deepak Trivedi who were participating in the program from the stage, there was no limit to her happiness. The lucky draw winners who reached the stage from the DJ floor were rewarded by the Rotary Club.
Rangilo maaro dholna, Ek tere sang yaara ankh lagna lagi, Balam pichkari, teri baat ne uzaj dil gaya hai… When the songs played, people started dancing like Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor.

Bhaskar campaign against plastic appreciated
Participated in Dainik Bhaskar’s ‘Say No To Plastic’ campaign in the programme. Dainik Bhaskar App made people aware about not using plastic bags and distributed jute bags. People greatly appreciated the campaign being run against plastic and resolved to use jute and cloth bags. After the distribution of jute bags, people said that the use of plastic was injurious to health.
