When investigation was done on the complaint of the officials, it was found that the operator in whose name the machine was issued. That day he had gone out to get his mother and daughter treated. In this case, the officials of Mahoba depot, saving their lives, started taking action against the driver and the conductor who were not on duty by rooting them off. Angered by this, the contract workers, drivers and conductors have demanded action from higher authorities by getting the matter investigated.

Mahoba depot bus number UP 78 HT 7683 left for Delhi on October 10 at 2:30 pm. While returning from Delhi, when the bus reached Jhansi on the morning of 12th October, Assistant Regional Manager Ramdas Sonkar stopped the bus and inspected it and found that there were 17 passengers in the bus. A passenger was found traveling without a ticket. After which the officials imposed penalty. But the officers were surprised when a person named Pradeep was acting as a conductor in place of conductor Sanjay Gupta who was in duty sleep. During checking, it was found that the bus should have had drivers Shakeel Ali and Mahendra Singh Second and conductor Sanjay Gupta, but an outsider named Pradeep was found doing duty in place of conductor Sanjay Gupta. The video of checking has also surfaced which is going viral on social media.

Jhansi officials showed great negligence and sent the fake operator to Mahoba along with the machine and the bus forms. Not only this, on reaching Mahoba, the fake operator Pradeep deposited the money collected from the ticket at Mahoba depot in the name of Sanjay Gupta in the machine and bag depot. Now, the action of ARM in-charge of Mahoba depot in this matter speaks volumes of the fraud going on in the department. In order to save face, by not taking action against the fake conductor Pradeep who was caught, action has been initiated against the conductor who did not go for duty and by routing off both the drivers of the bus.

When contract operator Sanjay came to know about the action, he was surprised. He said that he was at his home in Banda. Where his daughter’s health deteriorated and he took her to the hospital. After this, his mother’s health deteriorated the same night and he took her to Kanpur. When he never came to Mahoba, how were the machine and bag allotted in his name? How can he live in two places simultaneously? He reached the depot this evening with the treatment forms of his mother and daughter, where he termed all the allegations leveled against him as baseless and said that the matter would be investigated. He said that the department wants to implicate him. This is the reason why instead of taking action against the fake conductor of the bus, action is being taken against him.

Bus driver Shakeel told that when the bus was coming from Delhi, during checking near Jhansi, the officials found that there were two drivers in the bus. The person whose duty was assigned was completely true but the operator who was there was found to be fake. Both the drivers are shocked by the action taken against the drivers by the authorities. The drivers said that their job is to take the bus safely to its destination and they do not know which conductor will be on duty in the bus. This is the job of departmental officers. During the investigation, they told that a fake conductor has been found. There was no fault of his, he was doing his work but the officers took action against him which is wrong.
