Before Diwali, Hand Skills Fair Hunar Haat will be organized from 17th October to 19th October at RG Girls Degree College, Meerut. For this, the girl students have started preparations in the college.

College Principal Prof. Nivedita Malik said- The artefacts made by the students will be kept for display and sale. This year, the students of the Home Science Department have made many artistic items including bags, table coasters and wardrobe organizers by recycling denim and many other types of clothes. The students have prepared colorful decorative lamps, cards, envelopes and various types of paintings and decoration items.
Vermi compost will be available at the stall, girl students will apply mehndi on Karva Chauth
In the fair, a stall of vermicompost fertilizer being prepared by the Botany Department in the college will also be set up, small packets of which and medicinal plants will also be kept for sale. The students of Food Science department will tell about adulteration in food items. A stall of some equipment related to acupressure will also be set up by the Physical Education Department. Impressions 2024 painting exhibition will be organized by the painting department. Karva Chauth special stall will also be set up in the fair on 18th and 19th October, in which girl students will also apply mehndi.
