The incidents of mobile theft are not stopping in Amethi. This morning, as soon as a masked thief entered the shop at Madanchandra Aggarwal’s Arpit Machinery store located on Kakwa Road, he wiped his hands on the shopkeeper’s mobile phone and fled from the spot.

After the incident, when the shopkeeper did not find the mobile, he checked the recording of the CCTV camera. The entire theft incident was captured in this. As soon as the thief came to the shop, he demanded some item from the shopkeeper and as soon as the shopkeeper started taking out the item, the thief hid the mobile under a notepad and picked it up.
Thefts have happened before too At the time of this incident, the shopkeeper’s son Ankur Aggarwal and many customers were also present at the shop, but no one noticed the thief. It is noteworthy that a few days ago, a thief had stolen a mobile phone in a similar manner from Sangam Iron Store on Sagra Road in the town. There is concern among the local people about the increasing incidents of theft. Police has started the investigation of the matter.
