Lucknow’s Jankipuram police has arrested two vicious accused of theft by doing recce of a locked house. Police identified the vehicle numbers with the help of CCTV and surveillance and arrested the accused. The search for another accused is ongoing.

Let us tell you that Swami Sharan son of Tulsiram, resident of Jankipuram police station, Shyam City, lodged a complaint of theft in the house on 8th October. He told that the house was locked and he had gone out with the family. During this time, unknown thieves broke the lock of the house and disappeared with the cash and jewelery kept in the house. On the complaint of Swami Charan, the police formed a team.
More than 100 CCTV footages installed in the area were scrutinized. From which it was revealed that three boys had come on a Pulsar bike. After this the bike number was marked UP32 GJ3030. Along with this, the surveillance team was checking the location of the active mobile.
Have committed theft in other districts also
On Monday morning, Sudhir Kashyap (26) son of Kallu, resident of Sadar Lakhimpur and Ravi Verma (34) son of Hariom, resident of Para Lucknow were arrested. The accused confessed to the theft during interrogation. Apart from this, he confessed to committing other incidents in the area. Police have recovered Rs 1 lakh cash and gold jewelery from the accused. Both the accused have been sent to jail.
Accused Sudhir works in a grocery shop, while Ravi Verma is a mechanic. Both of them used to reconnoitre the closed house and shop with Pulsar vehicle. After this they used to commit theft. About 10 theft cases are registered against both in Lakhimpur and Lucknow. Police are searching for another criminal.
