Police increased surveillance through flag march
Late Monday evening, senior police officers along with a large number of police forces conducted a flag march in all the police station areas of Balrampur along with the city area and border area. During this, the police appealed to the people not to pay attention to any rumor and cooperate with the police in maintaining security.
Special surveillance on mixed populated areas and border areas
Balrampur police have increased security in the city and in mixed populated areas like Utraula, Tulsipur, Sadullahnagar and Pachpedwa. Even on the Nepal border, local police along with Sashastra Seema Bal have been kept on alert mode. Special vigilance is being taken in these areas so that any untoward incident can be prevented.
Police keep a close eye on social media also
SP Vikas Kumar and ASP Namrita Srivastava toured the city and Gasdi with the police force and interacted directly with the people and instructed the police personnel to remain vigilant. Police have also increased surveillance on social media to prevent any rumor or misinformation from spreading.
Police alert after Bahraich incident, increased vigil on Nepal border
In view of the riots in Bahraich, Balrampur Police has increased security and tightened vigil on the Nepal border. ASP Yogesh Kumar and SO Gaura Satendra Verma have been sent to Bahraich. The full attention of the police administration is on those areas where there is mixed population, so that peace and law and order can be maintained.
