Under the two-day campaign of the Marxist Party, the farmers and laborers of the area met CPI(M) Tehsil Secretary Com. Under the leadership of Mukut Bihari Jangam, demonstrated at the Etawah subdivision office and gave a memorandum to the SDM on the problems of the area.

The party demonstrated at the subdivision office regarding providing crop insurance cover from the insurance companies on the basis of crop cutting of the ruined crops of the farmers and 14-point demands of the common people, farmers and laborers, in which CPI(M) members, farmers, The workers participated. Addressing the protesters, Tehsil Secretary Com. Mukut Bihari Jangam warned the administration that if the administration and the state government do not solve the problems in time, then the general public, farmers and laborers of the assembly Pipalda area will carry out a violent agitation against the state government on the streets of Etawah, the responsibility of which will be on the administration, district. Murarilal Bairwa said that the protesters were also addressed by Kamal Bagri, Dilip Meena, Bhojraj Nagar, Surajmal Meena Luhavad, Bhavanishankar Kushwaha of Kisan Sabha.

It was said in the memorandum that the entire crop of the farmers should be purchased at the support price of MSP, crop insurance claims should be made from the insurance companies on the basis of crop cutting of the farmers’ ruined crops, labor assistance amount should be paid to the laborers by the Labor Department, Pipalda. The government’s ban on mining gravel for construction work from the rivers of the region should be lifted, the subsidy given to farmers on irrigation pipes should be released, the free hand given to consumers arbitrarily by the electricity authorities should be stopped, power cuts should be stopped. Do this, implement 200 days of work under MNREGA and a daily wage of Rs 600, in the year 2022, the state government should get the Etawah Mandi Committee to pay the dues of Rs 1.46 crore to 102 farmers by Krishna Trading Company in the agricultural produce market, Etawah, in the year 2022, the rivers of Pipalda area will be cleaned. Demands included that the state government should soon release compensation to the affected families who were deprived of compensation for the houses destroyed by the floods, and implementation of social security pension of Rs 10,000 every month to farmers and labourers. On these issues, the delegation gave a 14-point memorandum to the Chief Minister and District Collector, SDM Nayan Gautam.
