Today, Asaduddin Owaisi reached Hapur court amid tight security. He reached the court of ADJ 2. Heavy police force remained deployed for security. He has come to Hapur in connection with the firing that took place in the year 2022 during the election campaign.

What is the whole matter?
This incident took place on 3 February 2022 at Chhijarasi Toll Plaza located on NH-9 in Pilkhua, Western UP. Owaisi was returning to Delhi after campaigning in Kithore assembly constituency of Meerut. Then the attackers fired 4 rounds. There was a hole in the lower part of Owaisi’s car due to two bullets. Owaisi had a narrow escape.
After which the case was registered in Kotwali Pilkhuwa. The police immediately arrested one accused, while the other accused surrendered. Since then this matter is pending in the court.
