A case of extortion of Rs 1 crore from a property dealer has come to light. On the phone, an unknown person has threatened to kidnap and kill if the money is not given. On the complaint of the victim, Sector-39 police station has registered a case and started investigation.

Shiv Shankar Pandey, resident of Prateek Stylom Society, Sector-45, informed the police that he deals in buying and selling of property. On September 30, at around 2:23 pm, a call came from an unknown number.

The caller demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore. Threats of kidnapping and death were made if the demands were not met. After this the accused disconnected the phone. After that, two calls came in the night itself, but the victim did not receive the call.

After this, calls were received several times, but the victim did not pick up. When the victim called that number on October 1, the person did not pick up the phone. The victim says that he and his entire family are in panic due to the demand for extortion.

A threatening person can do anything untoward at any time. ADCP Manish Kumar Mishra says that the accused is being searched on the basis of the mobile number received from the victim. The investigation so far has revealed that the accused is originally a resident of Farrukhabad. Soon the accused will be caught and the incident will be exposed.
