Rajpal Yadav, a resident of Sanjay Colony, told in his complaint to the SSP that his truck was stolen from near Maliyana Chowki 2 years ago. The theft incident was also captured in CCTV cameras, despite which the police did not take the matter seriously. Rajpal alleges that the policemen were demanding a bribe of Rs 40,000 from him, and when he refused to pay the money, the police put the truck number wrong in the report.

Police did not even obey court orders The victim told that he tried to get the correct number of the truck registered thrice by getting an order from the court, but the police ignored it every time. Tired and defeated, Rajpal once again reached the SSP office on Thursday and pleaded for justice. Rajpal alleges that the policemen posted at the police station had also beaten him.

Got assurance of justice from SSP Rajpal Yadav said that he has gone to the authorities about 14 times in the last two years and complained about the matter, but till now he has not got justice. On Thursday, when he gave his complaint to the SSP, the SSP took cognizance of the matter and ordered the police to take immediate action and assured him of speedy justice.
