Scooty rider Rashmi Sonkar (40) was crushed by a roadways bus near Daliganj intersection in Lucknow on Friday night. Due to this Rashmi died on the spot. Family members raised slogans demanding strict action Police informed her husband Pradeep Sonkar, resident of Kaiserbagh Peer Jalil South, about the incident through the phone found with Rashmi. Pradeep Sonkar, who reached the news of his wife’s death, protested along with the family members and demanded action.
The police informed the family that the bus and the driver had been arrested. Also pacified by giving assurance of necessary action on the basis of complaint. Inspector Dinesh Chandra Mishra told that Rashmi was returning from Faizullaganj. Where his house is being built. The bus driver is in custody. The bus has been seized. On the basis of the complaint, a case will be registered and necessary action will be taken.
