The second test between Pakistan and England is being played at Multan Cricket Stadium. On the fourth day, England needs 261 runs to win while Pakistan needs 8 wickets to level the series. Pakistan has set a target of 297 runs for England to win. England had scored 36 runs after losing two wickets at stumps on the third day. Earlier, Pakistan scored 221 runs in the second innings. He had got a lead of 75 runs on the basis of first innings. Pakistan had scored 366 runs in the first innings. In reply, on the third day, England was all out for 291 runs in the first innings. Sajid Khan took 7 wickets for Pakistan.

Salman Aga, Pakistan’s top run scorer in the second innings, scored 63 runs on 89 balls. Saud Shakeel was Pakistan’s second top scorer in the second innings. He faced 51 balls and scored 31 runs. For England, Shoaib Shakeel took 4 wickets and Jack Leach took 3 wickets in the second innings.

Pakistan lost the first match by an innings and 47 runs. For the first time in the history of Test cricket, a team lost the match even after scoring more than 500 runs. This record was made in the test match played between Pakistan and England in Multan.

In this test, Pakistan scored 556 runs in the first innings. After this England’s innings started. England scored 823 runs thanks to Harry Brook’s triple and Joe Root’s double century. England took a lead of 267 runs over Pakistan.

Pakistan was all out for 220 runs in the second innings. England won the match by an innings and 47 runs. The first official Test was played for the first time in 1877. After that, for the first time a team has lost in this manner.
