The Vice President directed that the tender for the development works worth Rs 180 crore recently approved from the Infrastructure Fund should be done by November 15 under all circumstances. If there is unnecessary delay in the tender process, strict action will be taken against the concerned.

He said that there is a continuous demand by the residents of Nehru Enclave to get the work of beautification and horticulture done in the local park, on which the work should be prepared and started as soon as possible. At the same time, road, RCC drain and parking are being constructed from Pipraghat underpass to Janeshwar Mishra Park Gate No. 2. In this, the Vice President directed that marking should be done for the vehicles by making a circle by placing a net in the parking area.

VC expressed displeasure

At the same time, the Vice President expressed strong displeasure over the delay in the process of taking approval from the committee after the tender was opened for the road widening work around Ratanlok Apartment in Sharda Nagar Scheme. He gave strict instructions to the engineers to get the approval and start work on the site within a month of the opening of the tender.

Apart from this, in the review of operation and maintenance work of community centres, it was found that apart from Engineering Zone-1, RFP has not been issued by any other zone. On this, he instructed the executive engineers to issue orders for the operation and maintenance of community centers soon.

Apart from this, regarding the removal of the unauthorized settlement behind Dhenumati Apartment, the Vice President directed that action should be taken only after the residents there are displaced. For this, a proposal should be prepared and presented before the board regarding allotment of Prime Minister House to the people of the colony under the displacement policy.
