There was a dispute over land in a village under Rajepur police station area of Farrukhabad district. The old woman died there under suspicious circumstances. The family members have accused the other party of murder by strangulation.

Prema Devi (60), a resident of Nayagaon, was having a dispute with the neighboring people regarding drain water. On the complaint of the old woman, the regional accountant had reached the spot on Friday evening to investigate. It is alleged that the opposition was preparing to dig a pit outside Prema Devi’s house to drain the drain water.
A fight broke out between the two parties in front of the regional accountant and suddenly the condition of the old woman deteriorated. On receiving information about the incident, SDM Amritpur, Police Station Head Amritpur, Police Station Head Rajepur reached the spot with heavy force.
The old woman was taken to Lohia District Hospital in a police vehicle. Where Dr. Abhishek Chaturvedi, posted on EMO duty, declared him dead. The forensic team and area officer Amritpur reached District Hospital Lohia and investigated. The family members of the deceased have accused people from the other party of strangulating Prema Devi to death.
