A grand event of Shri Ram Leela is being organized at Parvatiya Maha Parishad Bhawan, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The program was started by Mayor Sushma Kharkwal by lighting the lamp. He underlined the importance of Ramlila and described it as giving the message of religion and morality.

On the first day of Ramlila, a beautiful tableau of the birth of Lord Ram was presented. The occasion of Vishwamitra’s entry into Dashrath’s court was a commendable presentation. During this period, the killing of Tadka, invitation by Janak’s messenger to Maharishi Vishwamitra for Swayamvar, Ahilya’s salvation, flower garden and Gauri worship, Janak’s court, Dhanush Yagya, Parshuram-Lakshman dialogue were beautifully staged.
