While checking the productivity of paddy in Lakhimpur Kheri, a unique form of Chief Development Officer Abhishek Kumar was seen. He along with the farmers harvested paddy in the fields and also appealed to the farmers not to burn the stubble.

CDO Abhishek Kumar had reached Gram Panchayat Agra of Tehsil Sadar with his team to check the productivity of the paddy crop. When he saw the farmers harvesting crops in the fields, he himself started harvesting paddy with a sickle. The officers made a video of this unique incident, which went viral on social media within a short time.
While talking to the farmers, the CDO also took information about the problems faced in farming. During this, his team took stock of the status of paddy harvesting to collect data on average yield and production of crops.
The CDO made a plot of equilateral triangle of 43.3 square meter area in the field of farmer Rajendra Kumar and got the crop cutting done through CCE Agri app. After harvesting the paddy was weighed, in which a total of 21.44 kg paddy was obtained. This interesting event not only encouraged the farmers but also served to establish a strong bond between the development officers and the farmers.
