The first match of the Test series between India and New Zealand is being played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Saturday is the fourth day of the competition. The day’s play will start at 9:15.

On the third day on Friday, Team India is behind by 125 runs. Till stumps, India had scored 231 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in the second innings. The team lost the wicket of Virat Kohli on the last ball of the day. Sarfaraz Khan returned unbeaten after scoring 70 runs.

Kohli was out after scoring 70, Rohit Sharma 52 and Yashasvi Jaiswal 35 runs. Ajaz Patel took 2 wickets and Glenn Phillips took 1 wicket. There was a partnership of 136 runs for the third wicket between Kohli and Sarfaraz.

Earlier, the New Zealand team was all out for 402 runs in the first innings and the team took a lead of 356 runs. On the second day of the first match of the 3-match series, New Zealand had all out India for 46 runs in the first innings. The first day’s play could not be played due to rain.

Kohli out after scoring 70 runs Virat Kohli was out on the last ball of the day. He was caught by Glenn Phillips at the hands of wicketkeeper Tom Blundell. Kohli played an innings of 70 runs on 102 balls.

Rohit’s 18th fifty, Ijaz bowled Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 52 runs. He was bowled by Ejaz Patel. This is Rohit’s 18th Test half-century. He completed his fifty by hitting a four on Matt Henry’s ball.

Rachin scored a century for New Zealand New Zealand started the third day on Friday with a score of 180/3. Rachin Ravindra, who came in to play ahead of 22 runs, scored a century. He scored 134 runs on 157 balls with the help of 13 fours and 4 sixes. Rachin kept scoring runs from one end and wickets kept falling from the other end.

Daryl Mitchell (18 runs), Tom Blundell (5 runs), Glenn Phillips (14 runs) and Matt Henry (8 runs) were out in the first session. In such a situation, Tim Southee made a record partnership with Rachin Ravindra for the 8th wicket.
