Army retiree Sarvesh Singh (45), originally a resident of Chhibramau, was posted as security in-charge at Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital (HALT) through Uttar Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Welfare Corporation. On Saturday, after doing night duty, he had left for Chhibramau. His bloody body was found lying on the side of the railway track at Rawatpur station in the morning. As soon as information about the matter was received, GRP reached the spot to investigate and informed the family members. After this the body was sent for postmortem.

As soon as the information was received, wife Guddi Devi, daughters Rinki, Anjali and son Ashwani along with the deceased’s brother-in-law Captain Nahar Singh and family members also reached the post-mortem house. The wife became infuriated after seeing her husband’s dead body. Crying, she ran out of the post-mortem house on the road, talking about killing herself. The family members somehow stopped him. All three children also became distraught crying. Deceased’s brother-in-law Nahar Singh told that he had left by train to go to Chhibramau. Now whether the death occurred due to falling from the train or someone pushed him or there is some other reason for death. He has given an application to the GRP police station to investigate the matter. GRP station in-charge said that the body was found lying on the railway track.
