The prisoner escaped by jumping from the train On October 13, Patna Police took prisoner Prem Shankar Vidyarthi from Beur jail to Saharanpur. On October 15, the police team was to return to Bihar with the prisoner. But the police delayed returning. Policemen boarded the train from Saharanpur railway station with Prem Shankar on Wednesday night. As soon as the speed of the train slowed down at Shamli’s Hind railway station, prisoner Prem Shankar jumped and escaped.
Police is searching at their level Prem Shankar Vidyarthi was brought before the court by ASI Ramanand Mandal, Havildar Dinanath Thakur, constable Badal Kumar, Rajkumar Rai, Shiv Shankar Kumar and Rahul Jha. When the accused of fraud absconded, Bihar Police searched extensively. But he was not found. The policemen informed their officers.
Bihar Police searching for two days After the matter came to the notice of Patna SSP Rajiv Mishra, ASI Ramanand Mandal, Havildar Dinanath Thakur, constable Badal Kumar, Rajkumar Rai, Shiv Shankar Kumar and Rahul Jha, who brought the prisoner, have been suspended with immediate effect. The SSP has handed over the investigation into the negligence of the policemen in the entire matter to CO Police Line Raju Kumar.
Used to cheat in the name of getting admission The absconding accused used to cheat in the name of getting admission in medical and engineering colleges. The accused is Prem Shankar Vidyarthi, a resident of Aurangabad, Bihar. Accused Prem Shankar was lodged in Beur jail since his arrest in the year 2018. For the first time, he was sent out of jail for a production warrant. Earlier, his appearance used to take place only through video conferencing.
Whereas SSP Rohit Sajwan says that Bihar Police has not informed about the escape of any prisoner, nor has it asked for help. If cooperation is sought in searching for the prisoner, help will be provided.
