Rs 278 crore will be given to the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department by the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority. With its construction, people commuting from Faridabad to Noida and Greater Noida will not have to get stuck in traffic jams.

UP will create irrigation department

It is very difficult to go from Badarpur border to Noida via Delhi. Many times drivers get stuck in traffic jams there. Due to the long distance to Delhi, people used to get late in going to their workplace. If you want to go to Noida quickly, people use the road along the Agra Canal to reach Kalindi Kunj directly. After crossing Yamuna from here, one reaches Noida.

In the last few years, the pressure of vehicles on this road has increased a lot, that is why on December 23, 2023, FMDA had passed a proposal to make it 4 lanes, it was said to cost Rs 278 crore. However the road comes under the UP Irrigation Department. That is why FMDA will give the money and Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department will invest this money and build this project. Now this project has got approval from the Uttar Pradesh government.

Sahupura- Palla Marg

6 flyovers will also be built on 20 kilometer road

If Faridabad FMDA officials are to be believed, the UP Irrigation Department will work on constructing four lanes from Sahupura to Palla. Delhi Mumbai Expressway is being built till Palla Kalindi Kunj, hence a separate road cannot be built here. UP Irrigation Department will make 20 kilometer road four lane from Palla to Sahupura. Near Sahupura the road will connect to the Green Field Expressway leading to Noida International Airport. The special thing about this road will be that people will be able to move on it without any jam. Because flyovers will also be constructed at six places. This includes Chandavali-IMT-Sector 8- Barauli-BPTP-Khedi Cut- Palla.

The work of making DPR is going on at a fast pace

SDO Brajkishore of Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department said that this four lane project has also been approved by the Uttar Pradesh government. The work of preparing DPR is going on at a fast pace. It is expected that the work of constructing four lanes will be started in December. People will find it very convenient to travel from Delhi-Faridabad to Noida. People who used to get stuck in traffic jams via Delhi will no longer get stuck and can go directly to Noida through this route.
