There are possibilities of opening of the closed railway gate near Palia Purba village located in Musafirkhana of Amethi. Taking cognizance of the MP’s letter, the Railway Minister has given detailed orders. After investigation, considering the problems of the people, the railway gate will soon be closed.

In fact, the Railways closed the railway gate on the Lucknow-Varanasi rail route near Palia Purab village located in Musafirkhana, Amethi, two months ago. Due to the closure of the railway gate, apart from the village Palia Purab, dozens of villages lost direct contact with the tehsil. People had to travel several kilometers to reach the tehsil and headquarters.
Seeing the problems of the people, Palia Purba village head Faizan Khan had submitted a letter to Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma demanding opening of the gate. Taking cognizance of the letter, the MP had written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav. Now, while replying to the MP’s letter, Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav has handed over the matter to the investigation directorate.
If everything goes well, after investigation, the Railways will soon reopen the closed gate, which will make it easier for people to come to the tehsil and district headquarters.
